Chef Laura has always been interested in food. Putting flavors together and creating new recipes has always fascinated her. She gets her inspiration from shopping local farmer's markets and prefers to source with local vendors as much as possible. The San Diego area has much to offer and she LOVES to hunt for the freshest ingredients of the season.
Prior to her culinary adventure she achieved a degree in business and worked in the high tech industry. This experience help Chef Laura see a niche in the market. People who wanted to eat well but did not have the time or energy to deal with it.
With this idea in mind, Chef Laura attended the California Culinary Academy and The French Culinary Institute, graduating with honors. From there she worked with several successful caterers in Northern California. She also taught culinary classes at Sur La Table for several years.
Chef Laura then decided to open her own small catering company and also offered location based cooking classes. The business began to flourish and with a recent relocation looks forward to expanding into the San Diego area.
